Work For Us

Heart of BS13 Job Vacancies in Bristol

Treasurer (Board of Trustees)

Heart of BS13 are seeking a dedicated individual to join our Board of Trustees as Treasurer.

About us
For over 30 years, our charity has been working to address health inequalities in Hartcliffe and Withywood in South Bristol, which ranks among the 10% most deprived communities in the UK. We are breaking the cycle of transgenerational poverty our community faces by joining the dots between employment, health, and climate action, taking important steps to reduce poverty, improve health, create training and employment opportunities in the green economy, and empower our residents to have a voice in addressing the climate crisis.

We have set up several social enterprises to help fund our work and allow us to become less grant-reliant, which include a sustainable flower farm and floristry, a frozen ready meals enterprise, a composting/food waste collections business, and venue hire of our unique outdoor space.
